3. Standard Order Cancellation

3.1 Before Your Order Ships

You may cancel a standard order at any time before it has been shipped. To cancel, email us at info@boltcricket.com with:

       Your order number

       The email address used at checkout

       A brief reason for the cancellation (optional, but helps us improve)

 

Our team will confirm the cancellation within 1 business day. Once confirmed, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days. Please allow an additional 3–5 business days for your bank or credit card provider to process the credit.

3.2 After Your Order Ships

Once an order has been shipped, it cannot be cancelled. However, you have two options:

       Refuse delivery: If the package has not yet been delivered, you may refuse it at the door. The carrier will return it to us, and we’ll process a refund once received (minus any return shipping costs for non-defective items).

       Request a return: If the package has been delivered, you can initiate a return under our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy. You have 30 days from delivery to request a return for eligible items.

Because orders are processed within 5–7 business days, there is typically a window to cancel before shipment. However, during high-demand periods (new product launches, sales events), orders may be processed and shipped faster than usual. We recommend contacting us as soon as possible if you wish to cancel.

4. Pre-Order Policy

4.1 What Is a Pre-Order?

A pre-order allows you to reserve an out-of-stock or upcoming product before it becomes available. Bolt Cricket offers pre-orders for new cricket bat releases, limited-edition gear, and seasonal product launches. When you place a pre-order:

       Deposit or full payment: Depending on the product, we may collect no payment, a partial deposit, or the full price at the time of checkout.

       Payment method stored: Your payment method is securely stored. If a deposit was collected, the remaining balance will be charged when the item is ready to ship.

       Estimated availability: Each pre-order product page displays an estimated availability date. This is our best estimate and may be subject to change due to manufacturer timelines.

 

4.2 Cancelling a Pre-Order

You may cancel a pre-order at any time before the item has been fulfilled and shipped. To cancel a pre-order, email us at info@boltcricket.com with:

       Your order number

       The email address used at checkout

       Confirmation that you wish to cancel the pre-order

 

Once we confirm the cancellation:

       If no payment was collected: Your pre-order will be cancelled and your stored payment method will be removed. No charge will be made.

       If a deposit was collected: A full refund of the deposit will be issued to your original payment method within 5–10 business days.

       If full payment was collected: A full refund will be issued within 5–10 business days.

 

4.3 After a Pre-Order Has Been Fulfilled

Once a pre-ordered item has been fulfilled and shipped, it can no longer be cancelled. At that point, the order is treated as a standard order and is subject to our Return, Refund & Exchange Policy. You may request a return within 30 days of delivery, provided the item meets the return eligibility requirements (unused, original packaging, tags intact).

4.4 Pre-Order Delays and Changes

Occasionally, a pre-ordered product may experience delays due to manufacturing, shipping, or supply chain issues. If a significant delay occurs:

       We will notify you by email with an updated estimated availability date.

       You will have the option to keep your pre-order or cancel for a full refund.

       If a pre-ordered product is discontinued or permanently unavailable, we will cancel the pre-order automatically and issue a full refund within 5–10 business days.

 

Bolt Cricket will never charge the remaining balance on a pre-order until the item is ready to ship. You will always receive an email notification before any charge is processed.
